How NetPay works
NetPay turns an API call into a payment. Your website creates a payin, the customer pays by scanning a QR Ph code with GCash, Maya or their bank app, and the money lands in your NetPay balance, already split from the fee. From there you claim it, withdraw it or pay it out.
The shape of a working setup
Five things exist in NetPay, and almost everything you do touches one of them:
- Your merchant account - your business. We review it before it can take real money, and it comes with a login, API keys and a webhook secret.
- Payins - one per payment attempt. A successful payin adds its net amount to your pending balance.
- Claims - moving successful payins from pending to your available balance (or straight to your bank) the day after they were paid.
- Payouts - sending money from your available balance to any Philippine bank or e-wallet.
- Webhooks - our calls to your server whenever one of the above changes.
What a customer never sees
There is no NetPay account for your customers and nothing to install. They open the checkout link, see your business name and the amount, scan the QR with the app they already use, and go back to your site.
The fee is calculated when the payin or payout is created and shown in the response. It never changes afterwards, even if your pricing changes later.
